The network, in numbers
Air Algérie flies 123 nonstop international routes from 13 Algerian airports to 48 airports in 29 countries. 59 of those routes are confirmed end to end and 64 are listed by a published source without confirmation of who operates them. The longest is Algiers Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 10,580 km.
Route network as last checked against schedules on Jul 29, 2026. Routes change seasonally, so treat this as a dated snapshot.
How complete this is
Air Algérie states between 44 and 57 international routes, counting city pairs. This page counts 123 directional legs, because a leg flown one way on a Saturday and the other way on a Wednesday is two different flights. What you see is most of the network rather than all of it, and routes are added as evidence for them turns up.
Codeshares are excluded
A codeshare puts one airline's flight number on another airline's aircraft. Screening the highest-risk pairs removed five, two of which carry no Air Algérie aircraft at all: Algiers to Jeddah is operated by Saudia and Algiers to Amman by Royal Jordanian. Both are sold with an Air Algérie number and neither is on this map.

Questions about these routes
- How many nonstop international routes does Air Algérie fly?
- 123 directional routes, from 13 Algerian airports to 48 airports in 29 countries. Directional means each way is counted separately, because many routes do not fly both ways on the same day.
- Which Algerian airports have nonstop international flights?
- Algiers Airport, Constantine Airport, Oran Airport, Annaba Airport, Tlemcen Airport, Bejaia Airport, Batna Airport, Setif Airport, Biskra Airport, Chlef Airport, Djanet Airport, El Oued Airport, Jijel Airport.
- How reliable is this data?
- Every route carries a source URL you can open. 59 routes are verified, meaning the operator, direction and timing were checked against a published source and the flight time compared against the great-circle distance. 64 are listed, meaning a published table names the carrier serving the pair without confirming that Air Algérie operates it. Nothing here is uncited.
- Why are some routes shown in only one direction?
- Because that is how they fly. Algiers to Budapest is nonstop on Saturdays and Budapest to Algiers is nonstop on Wednesdays, with no same-day nonstop round trip, so they are two separate routes and neither implies the other.
- Are codeshare flights included?
- No. A codeshare puts an airline's flight number on another airline's aircraft, so including them would make this map's central claim false. Algiers to Jeddah and Algiers to Amman are sold under Air Algérie numbers but flown by Saudia and Royal Jordanian, and both are excluded.
- Can I use this data?
- Yes, freely. It ships as an open dataset under the MIT licence: install it with npm i @geoalgeria/aviation and call routes(), plannedRoutes() or routesFrom(iata). CSV and GeoJSON are included alongside the JSON.
